What is Mindfulness?

An awareness that is cultivated through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, without any judgment of one’s own experience. When we practice mindfulness each day, we develop the ability to let go of fears about the future, let go of concerns about the past and experience the true essence of the present moment. Mindfulness gives us the ability to wake up to the quality of life and stop living in automatic pilot; which can disconnect us from our body, mind and healthy relationships. This unique type of mental training creates high levels of concentration, the ability to adapt in a high stress environment, and communicate with clarity and composure.
